First of all we'd like to say a big thank you for your kind comments over the last twenty-four hours. We're really grateful for your understanding and support. Of course, we're still deeply disappointed that the festival can't go ahead this year, but it's only made us even more determined to come back bigger and better in 2020.
As promised, we would like to provide a full refund (face value of ticket + booking fee) to anyone who purchased their ticket through an official Beyond The Woods supplier - either Gigantic or Eventbrite.
Once your refund has been processed, your money will be returned to the purchase method you originally used to buy your tickets (eg your bank account) automatically, so you don't need to do anything.
We expect this process to begin within 28 days. Refunds will take a maximum of 10 days to appear in your account once they have been processed.
If you originally made your purchase through Gigantic (any orders made after 14th February), we'd be grateful if you could direct any queries to email@example.com. Eventbrite customers with questions should contact us via the festival's website - beyondthewoods.co.uk.
Unfortunately we will not be able to refund tickets which were not purchased directly from the festival. If you are in this position, we'd suggest that you contact the person/supplier you bought your tickets from.
Thanks again for your patience. We really appreciate it.

We are absolutely heartbroken to tell you that, due to safety concerns around the weather, this year's Beyond The Woods Festival will no longer be going ahead.
Over the last twenty-four hours, the weather forecast for Baumber this weekend has worsened. We are expecting thunderstorms, and in particular extremely strong winds, which present a very real threat to the health and safety of anyone on site.
Following conversations with our colleagues in the emergency services, and the East Lindsey Events Safety Advisory Group, we have been forced to conclude that it would not be possible for the festival to take place safely.
Of course, this is not a decision that we have taken at all lightly. Our hardworking team of volunteers explored a number of possibilities for allowing the festival to continue. Ultimately, however, we have to put your safety, and theirs, first.
We understand that you will have a lot of questions, including about refunds, and would like to reassure you that we will be refunding all tickets to the event purchased through our official channels, Gigantic and Eventbrite, including the booking fee. However, our immediate priority has to be the safety of our staff, volunteers and contractors who are still on site. We will therefore be making a further statement with more details within the next 48 hours.
Thank you so much for your continued support of the festival. We will be working even harder to ensure that we can be back with another brilliant event in 2020.
All refunds of Gigantic and Eventbrite purchases will take place automatically. You don't need to lift a finger.
Absolutely. We'll be refunding all ticket types, including camping upgrades.
We have considered this, but unfortunately don't think that it will be possible. It's likely to be some time before we know what next year's festival will look like, and therefore whether it would be a viable option.
We can either post your purchase(s) out to you free of charge, or you can request a full refund. Please contact us for more information.
